KWB Wealth Core Values

Core values are the deeply ingrained principles that guide a company’s actions; they serve as its cultural cornerstones. Core values are inherent and sacrosanct; they can never be compromised, either for convenience or short-term economic gain. They are the source of a company’s distinctiveness and must be maintained at all costs.

Our words and our actions matter equally.

Integrity does not have to do with good vs. bad or right vs. wrong. We define integrity as:

  1. Who you are anywhere, is who you are everywhere. How you carry yourself, speak to, speak of, and work with others when no one is watching is essential. Practice internal self-awareness so you can respond intelligently to your emotions, thoughtfully engage in the present, and have positive interactions with yourself and those you encounter.
  2. Integrity is a matter of a person’s word. You are whole and complete when your word is whole and complete. Your word is whole and complete when you honor your word. This means doing what you say you’re going to do and doing it on time. And as soon as you know you cannot keep your word, you directly COMMUNICATE with all parties counting on you and address the impact your actions have had on the others’ life and work.
  3. Integrity involves internal and external self-awareness and personal accountability. You are responsible for the energy you bring to the room. Understand and own your impact. Through internal self-awareness, consider your personal thoughts, beliefs, actions and how they impact others. Generate external self-awareness by receiving feedback to understand how others see you. Both are essential for productive communication, success, and fulfillment in your profession and personal life. Always ask yourself: Does my impact match my intention? What can I do next time to better communicate my intention?

Integrity is essential to our organization because it cultivates trust in each other, creates workability, and is necessary for maximum performance.

Quality relationships and coachable players are essential for long-term, quality growth.

This firm was built on trust, transparency, and candor. We do not compromise sound advice for a quick buck. Others’ interests are put ahead of our own, as we are committed to successful outcomes for all players - clients and team members. This means we are not a one-size-fits-all firm; decisions are made with this in mind because quality relationships and coachable players are essential for long-term, quality growth. As a team, one’s work impacts another. Therefore, deciding who and what we say “yes” to is driven by our expectation of integrity and what is correct for the team. Without it, our standards and performance are diminished. Our functionality begins with integrity, flows to workability, and from workability to performance. Therefore, any weakening in integrity results in a weakening in workability. A weakening in workability results in a weakening in the opportunity for performance. Saying “no” is a healthy response if it means all players’ integrity can be upheld.

Our individual success is a reflection of our team’s success.

This is leadership across the board and asked of EVERYONE. Take initiative. Lead with purpose and integrity, remain humble, be a master collaborator, support what needs to get done and those who are DOING it. In everything we do, look for possibilities to be better, challenge the status quo, focus on incremental improvement, and embrace opportunities for change and innovation. Note, you don’t need to be in a position of power to be an impactful leader. An impactful leader supports team members in who they are today and who they are becoming, celebrates their accomplishments, and helps them be successful in their position and goals. Remember, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with others. The team’s success is a reflection of your success.

We have experience, knowledge, high performance standards, and an impartial approach elevating everyday business to good rapport.

We don’t wear suits. It’s not our thing. Nor do we use industry jargon to sound cool. Our outfit of choice is integrity and confidence. We have experience, knowledge, high standards of performance, and an impartiality that makes doing business feel like good rapport. We meet people where they are and do not tolerate an attitude of “better than” from ourselves or those we choose to work with.

Carrying yourself with approachable professionalism requires you to be 100%. We want you to be emotionally, mentally, and physically healthy. Take care of yourself, eat well, get ample and restorative sleep, find time to do the things that support your best self. While we all care about work, you are at your best, and help others best, when you’ve built a solid foundation for yourself. You do your part, and we will do our part to support you in your well-being.
