Kerrick (Kerry) the youngest of three children was raised in a military family, which afforded him the opportunity to live in many parts of the USA and overseas. In 1983 he obtained an ROTC scholarship, and four years later completed a BS in Management Engineering at Grove City College. He was then commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF and served four years on active duty. In June of 1987, he completed his MBA and left the USAF with the rank of Captain. During his service in the military, Kerry became involved in real estate and investing. Based on this interest, in July of 1987, Kerry began his career as a financial consultant in the Inland Empire. Some nine years later he joined the independent Broker-Dealer LPL Financial and simultaneously started the financial services firm KWB & Associates, Inc. now known as KWB Wealth. Kerry and his wife, Lisa, have two children and in 2019 became first-time grandparents.
Kerry works hard…but don’t feel sorry for him because he plays even harder. He enjoys several hobbies like dirt biking and camping, but mostly he loves the water. It seems to be an affliction he’s had since high school. In 2019 he caught his biggest fish, a Blue Fin Tuna, weighing about 285 pounds and measuring six feet in length. Currently, he is fixated on catching a swordfish. He will keep you posted! If he is not busy doing one of his hobbies, he’s likely doing maintenance and home repairs or spending time with family and their three canines.

Robert joined the KWB team in 1996. He had already been working in the industry for a few years, but most of his experience beforehand was in banking. He worked in Dallas, TX as a Commercial Bank Analyst and then as a Consumer Loan Officer in New Jersey and California. Robert’s educational background speaks to his history in the financial sector; he has a degree in Finance from the University of North Texas-Denton and completed the Personal Financial Planning Program with the UCLA Extension.
Robert resides with his partner of twenty-seven years, David Anderson, in a 1929 Spanish-style home in the Historic Highlands neighborhood of Pasadena, CA. Given the opportunity, Robert splits his off time either on a beach somewhere in the world (Carmel, CA. or Captiva, FL) or outside Santa Fe, NM where he is developing a piece of residential real estate.

After graduating from high school, Diana went off to study management at Cal State San Bernardino where she earned a degree in Business Administration. While working on her degree, she joined KWB in 2000 as a file clerk. While organizing those tedious files, she got a glimpse into what it meant to be a Financial Advisor. Diana gradually started meeting and advising clients with Kerry as her mentor. She has established many relationships over the years that she greatly values and is proud to be a partner of the KWB family.
When Diana is off the clock, she enjoys being a proud mother of her two children, Bella and Brandon. She also makes sure to find time to “date” her loving husband, Jesse. The Sailler family can be found boating in Lake Havasu, off-roading in local deserts, or finding some other kind of outdoor activity. When they’re not on the move, she really enjoys yoga and watching a good movie on Netflix.

Mike’s interest in financial services stems from a deeper understanding of an experience he had as a child. His grandparents came to live with his family, and at the time, Mike thought the new housemates to be a fun addition. Later he learned that poor investment decisions and dishonest guidance are what lead to his grandparents having to move in. Armed with his personal experience, Mike went to work at KWB in 2007, earned an MBA in finance, became a financial advisor at the firm, and now partner. If you have a spreadsheet that needs making or tuning up, Mike is your guy! He is a self-proclaimed nerd taking pride in his knowledge of areas like social security benefits and taxes.
When Mike isn’t perfecting a spreadsheet at the office or deepening his relationship with clients, he is at home with his wife Sheree and German Short-haired pointer, Wyatt. All three love to stay active. Sheree has several marathons under her belt as an avid runner. And Mike, who feels running is a natural response to danger, prefers mountain biking with their insanely fast pup Wyatt.

Quentin joined KWB in 2015 after graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. His duties at KWB are as broad as his undergrad degree was. He’s a partner at the firm now, but in the early days, in between meeting with clients, he pulled his weight by changing light bulbs and clearing rain gutters during storms. You are less likely to see Quentin on the roof now, but you will occasionally see him on a ladder changing a lightbulb or two. He now has an MBA in Marketing and was promoted from rain gutter repair to KWB’s technology guru along with his normal client-facing responsibilities.
Quentin is a big fan of hobbies. He takes after his dad that way: not afraid to get his hands dirty with some kind of project, either around the house or when off on an adventure. The Bubbs are just built that way. On an average weekend around the house, Quentin can be found on his own ladder or in the attic, power tools at the ready. Since buying his first home in 2017, he has been chipping away at the fixer-upper, armed with his wife’s design input and his desire to learn. From electrical to framing, replacing windows to stucco repair, he loves having projects. When it's time to put the tools away, Quentin embarks on adventures with his wife Brittney, son Mason, and German Shepherd Kori. They love to hike, camp, and dream about the future farm they want to build together.

Rachel joined the firm in 2018 after a two-year “sabbatical” of organic farming and traveling. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016 intending to work in sustainable agriculture. But her persistent father (Kerry) said, “Take a whirl at financial planning!” So, she did and quickly discovered this was her destined career path. She hung up her overalls and shovel, passed the licensing exams, and now works with clients while also managing the marketing department and working towards an industry respected credential. Don’t worry though, she hasn’t lost her enthusiasm for sustainability or environmental activism. She leads the firm’s efforts to print double-sided, go paperless as much as possible, and reduce single-use items! She is a big advocate of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing and uses this as her personal investing strategy.
Rachel does not do well with downtime; she loves activity and a full schedule of adventure. Her days usually involve a morning run with her dog, Snaps, and evening yoga to unwind. Her weekends are booked months in advance with ski trips, backpacking or camping trips, and ocean getaways. Her goal is to one day backpack the entire Pacific Crest Trail, but for now, she will settle for 3 to 4-day backpacking trips. When she’s home, Rachel and her partner, Stu, cook meals that include vegetables harvested from their backyard garden and chip away at a long list of DIY house projects.

Steve joined KWB in April 2009, right after the market bottomed from the Great Recession. Prior to working at the firm, Steve played four years of Bulldog Baseball at the University of Redlands, and oh yeah, he graduated in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration. His core duties at KWB have morphed over time from being an investment researcher to head trader to now the Director of Portfolio Management and a partner at the firm. Steve has a passion for investments and behavioral finance and received his Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation in 2014. Since his desk is in the depths of the back of the office, he may not know many of our client’s faces, but he knows everyone’s name and has incredible knowledge of our client’s investments.
Steve is a big fan of Notre Dame football and has traveled many times to see them play. This includes drives to the Air Force Academy in Colorado, flights to South Bend, IN, and even a trip to Ireland to see the Fighting Irish play! On weekends Notre Dame isn’t playing, he loves “a long walk ruined” and plays golf as often as he can. However, his main love is his family. He moved to Yucaipa in 2013 with his wife, Kelsey, and has since had two beautiful kids, Daniel (2014) and Maggie (2018). They love to go on trips to the zoo, the beach, the mountains, Disneyland, and can’t wait to start traveling all around the US and abroad as a family.

Igor joined the KWB team in 2018 as an Associate Wealth Planner. He has been tactfully learning the ins and outs of the business from client-facing responsibilities to the back office perspective that keeps the KWB engine humming. Just a few of his responsibilities include creating financial plans, preparing and assisting with client meetings, working on portfolio models with the Director of Portfolio Management, and placing trades. Igor is currently working on an investment model of his own – an individual issue model.
Igor’s curiosity about the markets began when he was a student at the University of Maine. Eager to learn more, he added Economics as a second major. After graduating in May 2017 with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Economics, he packed an (oversized) U-Haul and began his move. Six days and 4,500 miles later, he arrived in sunny Southern California.
Igor is no stranger to long-distance travel. He was born in Siberia, lived in Canada, Maine, and the Bronx before settling in Redlands, CA. He recently passed the CFA Level 1 exam (basno.com/2q8opk08). The CFA is a rigorous, three-part examination that’s revered across the financial industry. He is now registered as a candidate for the Level 2 exam! In his free time, when he is not studying, he loves learning new skills (such as Python programming language). He also loves to work on his car, a Dodge Challenger and enjoys cooking. He can make a mean beef stew!

Emily joined KWB within a week of the company opening its doors in 1996. It was just a few years before that moment when she began her career in financial services, 1992 to be exact. She worked with Dean Whittier Reynold before moving on to TSI Financial in 1994 where she met Kerry.
Since day one she has been involved in operations, making sure the back office runs smoothly and clients get the outstanding service they deserve. Emily is now a partner at the firm and has taken on the role of Chief Compliance Officer. Legal jargon and meeting compliance standards in a heavily regulated industry make for interesting times in the office. Emily has worked hard to create a compliance program the ensures no “t” goes uncrossed and “i” undotted on any KWB and client documentation.
Emily is a lifelong resident of Redlands. When she’s not focused on KWB compliance tasks she enjoys traveling with friends and her husband Sal (married 1998). She has two sons and a daughter, but her greatest family joy is her two grandsons. You know grandkids always win!

Jamie’s first response to a question or task from her co-workers is usually no…. that way you’re pleasantly surprised when the task is completed, or the question is answered correctly. Her knowledge and skill have continuously developed since she started with KWB in 2001. You may often hear Jamie’s voice on the phone and/or receive paperwork from her, but she is also heavily involved in helping LPL improve its systems in order to better our client’s experiences.
When Jamie is not at work, she spends her free time with her family. Jamie is outnumbered at home four to one, but don’t worry, she can hold her own. Being a mom of three boys can be crazy but she loves it. Jamie and her husband, Brian, have been together since 2009 and can honestly say every day is a new adventure. Jamie loves Pinterest and DIY projects and adding to her husband’s “honey-do” list. Each weekend is filled with things to do, either around the house or family activities from baseball to camping, and walking their family dog Jasper, a Poodle Maltese mix.

When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, her only answer was to be a Great Mom. Years after raising their children and being a stay-at-home Mommy, she began taking courses in her “free time.” Her journey began with attaining her Associate of Arts, which sparked her interest in the Dental Hygiene Program. While she was aspiring to become a Dental Hygienist, God had other plans of transition, one of which involved moving the family. Venessa joined the KWB Team in 2017 after looking for a change in her professional career.
Venessa enjoys riding her Harley with her husband and spending precious moments with their two children. More often than not, you’ll find the Fox family juggling various projects from maintaining the vehicles with oil changes to welding lessons at home. She and the family are very competitive! Whether it’s playing board games, tennis, long-range shooting, or sharing the blessing of dinner together they continue to be a close-knit team.

Before working at KWB Wealth, Amanda worked at Big Island Harley Davidson which came to an abrupt stop amid a very challenging time in our nation and the world. She is our newest Administrative Assistant who is eager to learn this industry and most likely the person greeting you over the phone.
The eldest of five children to parents who are high school sweethearts, Amanda grew up on a small farm in Southern California. As the oldest of five, we can only imagine the responsibility and excitement! Growing up she was eager to help with whatever needed to be done, and when she managed to get away from the farm, she found a love for water whether it be the ocean, lake, or river. Anybody of water, she’s exploring it! In her spare time, you can find her sipping a Bloody Mary and snacking on pickles while lounging with family and friends next to a bonfire. You may even catch a glimpse of her jamming out to tunes in her car stuck at the railroad crossings. Other than being bit by a Brown Recluse (which started her fear of spiders) life has been a blessing. She is excited to start her newest journey here at KWB Wealth.

Claire grew up in the small town of Sherman, Texas, and say goodbye when she was recruited to play basketball at the University of Redlands. She had never been to California before deciding to move here. She chose to study Global Business at the University and soon found a passion for travel. She took French and ultimately had the opportunity to travel and live in Italy and France for two summers. Reaching her junior year, she decided to shift her focus from Global Business to Finance and was eventually introduced to KWB Wealth through a seminar hosted by the business school at the University. After a few interviews, she brought on board the KWB Wealth team. Claire is currently working towards her license to become a financial advisor.
When it hits five o’clock, Claire likes to go home and spend time with her two kittens, Spooky and Mango. She updates the content on the cats’ TikTok page, where she posts fun, cute videos of her kittens for the world to see. She absolutely loves her family and Facetimes them every day from Texas! Occasionally, they come to visit and speak of all the lovely traits of California. She is known to her friends as someone who is fun, crazy, and a bit odd when it comes to food. For example, as you can see in the dislikes section, she does not enjoy condiments on her food. Odd as it may seem, she embraces eating bland food and dislikes when people force her to eat things that are slathered in a condiment. Her friends also call her the “pasta” queen because of her love for eating and making pasta almost every other day. She does have a strange addiction to the show KUWTK (Keeping up with the Kardashians) and can pretty much tell you anything you would like to know about each family member. Lastly, one of her favorite things to do is host game nights with friends and enjoy the California environment!

Bella was born and raised here in Redlands, CA. She loves it so much that when it came time to go to college, she saw no better fit than to stay local and attend the University of Redlands. There she studied Business Administration and minored in accounting. Bella initially intended to pursue her own business as a horse trainer but later found that a balance of work and passion is much more fulfilling. During her college years, Bella simultaneously worked several jobs including training horses early in the morning, assisting the Global Business department at the University of Redlands between classes, housesitting on weekends, and assistant managing at Olive and Citrus, a restaurant in downtown Redlands, before joining the KWB team.
Every day after work, Bella still makes time for her passion. She can be found riding her horse and clients’ horses at a local barn until late into the evening. Bella started riding at an early age and over the years has competed in local shows, rodeos, and gymkhanas with her beloved horse, Copper. In her free time, Bella enjoys doing anything outside including trail riding, hiking with her husky, Josephine, off-roading, and camping with friends.

Perla was born in Michoacan, Mexico. When she was three, her family moved to Redlands, CA and she’s since remained in the area. She grew up sandwiched between two brothers and in elementary school one could catch Perla spending her free time reading children's horror stories.
In 2019 she graduated from San Bernardino Valley College with her Business Administration degree. She plans to return to school soon to earn her bachelor’s degree, likely in Business Administration.
Perla is excited for her journey ahead as a new mom to her baby boy Maximiliano. Family is very important to Perla. She devotes her free time to be with them and gives to other families annually through the Redlands Family Services (RFS) Adopt a Family program. Growing up, Perla and her family were assisted by RFS; it’s a cause near and dear to her heart that she chooses to give back to.
Additionally, Perla enjoys trying new restaurants, staying home to watch horror films, traveling, hiking, and crafting on her Cricut machine. The next big trip she is looking forward to is a family trip to Hawaii when Max is 1 or 2 years old.
Perla is fluent in Spanish and English.
